Entrevista
The interview process for the Business Analyst position at CIBC was a comprehensive experience that began with a tailored application highlighting my relevant skills. The initial screening with a friendly recruiter allowed me to share my background and motivations, which felt positive. The technical assessment was challenging but showcased my analytical abilities, although I realized I could have provided more thorough explanations. During the panel interviews, I used the STAR method effectively for behavioral questions but found myself needing a bit more preparation for some technical inquiries. I appreciated the focus on cultural fit, reflecting CIBC’s commitment to diversity, and I felt confident in my references. Ultimately, receiving a job offer validated my efforts, but I identified areas for improvement, particularly in technical knowledge, to enhance my readiness for future opportunities.
