I applied for the Recruiter position on my University career search platform and heard back within 3 weeks. I was then invited to attend an information session on campus where a hiring manager and a salesperson explained the company, the culture, and the ins and outs of the position. The next day, I sat for a one-on-one interview on campus with a salesperson from the St. Louis office. This interview was pretty standard: strengths, weaknesses, life priorities, and how I see myself fitting into the results-oriented company culture. The day after this initial interview, I heard back from the hiring manager and was told they'd like to bring me into the St. Louis office for a more intensive interview. This interview took place roughly two weeks after the initial interview. I sat down one-on-one with the St. Louis office manager for about an hour and half. This interview was more detailed and really got into the weeds of the position and what would be expected of me if I accepted a potential offer. While this part of the interview touched a lot on the skills and experiences you might need to do the job well, it also touched a lot on my personal values, such as how I see my future career and even the types of people I'd consider my best friends. After my sit-down with the office manager, one of the office's Technical Recruiters sat down with me for about 10 minutes just to get to know me and ask some basic questions. Finally, the office manager came back in to show me the whole office and introduce me to the team members. I ended up sitting down with one of the Sales Executives for about half an hour while I watched him handle some of his daily job responsibilities. After that, the office manager thanked me for coming in and explained I'd hear back if I received an offer by the end of the week. I ended up getting the job and start there in May! Overall a positive experience.
