Submitted my resume into the system, contacted roughly a month labor for participation in a "interview-like" fair. Basically, met with three teams that took interest in my skills / resume and had a speed date of 30 minutes to see which team better suited my experience. Perhaps for some this is a good interview process as the interviews were relatively casual, relaxing, some technical questions, and that's it. However, I found this process a bit discouraging. Spoke with each team for at a max of 30 minutes, and was given an offer the next day. Interview made me feel like just a number (which well, it's Booz Allen, they have thousands of applicants anyways), and I was offered a position in another role / team that was different from what HR told me before that I would probably be placed in. I was also low-balled a salary and eventually I found another offer about 15% more for the same work. Still, no extreme negativities about the company, however, 30 minutes and an offer seems a bit too careless to me. I've had interviews for roughly 3 hours for even just an internship. (Not saying that a longer interview is a better company, but the overall *very* rushed, speed-dating process was a mediocre experience) I think I would consider an opportunity at Booz Allen perhaps if I had come in for a specific role rather than a where-can-we-put-you process. Half the time my interviewers were watching the clock (understandable, but not really) while I was talking.
