The interview process took a week, and I heard back from the recruiter a week later. I went through two rounds of interviews: a phone screen with the recruiter and an in-person interview with someone else from the company.
Surprisingly, the entire process itself was very fast. (I had applied on a Friday afternoon when I saw the job posting on LinkedIn, and I heard back from the recruiter to schedule an interview the following Monday.)
The recruiter asked typical behavioral questions, such as how I heard about Avanade, what interested me about the company, etc. My phone interview with them went swimmingly, so at the end of the interview, the recruiter told me that I was now moved to the final round, which was an in-person interview.
In the in-person interview, I was still asked behavioral questions, but this time pertaining to things I would do outside of school, such as any activities, interests, etc. After that, I gave a walk-through of my portfolio to the interviewer, making sure to clearly define my design process for the projects I worked on.
Unfortunately, I didn't receive an offer (the recruiter told me that the team felt that the other candidates had more experience and skills/projects that they were looking for, compared to me), but I can guarantee that you will have at least a pleasant interview experience with this wonderful company.
