Ghosting is the word that resumes my experience. First catch up with recruiter, everything went well, she posted me to the next stage. Then I had interview with hrbp, she posted me to next step. After that, 3 different interviews with people located in the UK, China and US. Everything went well. Recruiter contacted me to do the “last round interview” with local business leader. We had an onsite interview; everything went well and smooth; he showed me the offices and new ideas for 2023. It was on November 2nd. I sent email to the recruiter letting her know the process was ended. She texted me she was going to be back to me asap. Days and weeks passed, no answer. 3 weeks, after sending reminders, she told me someone in the UK got the position – even they told me they wanted someone onsite – but there would be a new position opened soon in Spain – she told 2-3 weeks, and if I would be interested, just need to check offer details. OK I waited, then I checked again, before Christmas. Recruiter told me the role would not be live before Christmas. Until now, February. This has been the worst experience I had had in my entire life, specially disgusting as I was applying for a HR position.
