I’d like to share a key piece of feedback regarding the interview process. I applied for the Chief of Staff role, which closely aligns with my background and experience. However, the interview discussion was primarily centered around a Product Strategist role, which is materially different from the position I applied for and prepared for.
The lack of clarity and alignment between the role applied for and the role discussed—both at the recruiter and interviewer level—made the overall experience feel misaligned.
Initial discussion call with the current CoS. Not much was clarified about next steps. They were supposed to come back with more information but no information was offered after the discussion. No feedback was provided either. In fact they went on to completely ghost me after the initial discussion, making me wait more than 2 weeks before I finally realised that they were never going to respond to my countless follow ups
