I recently went through the interview process. Everything was going rather smoothly and quickly- talked to HR recruiter, then next day set up a technical interview, and apparently went well as on the same day I was asked to take a test. The next day I sent the test back and after a day I received an email they will get back to me. A couple of days later I received a generic “thank you but they will not move forward” letter This is totally fine and up to the company. However I asked for feedback from the recruiter and the technical person present at the interview. I did not receive a response at all. These are unique times and shouldn’t we all be a little try to do better? Be a little more considerate and helpful. So many are out of a job presently and it is not too much to ask for some constructive feedback so they can do better next time. It would have been appreciated it. Not sure why I was not provided such a simple courtesy.
