Sr. PM is the highest IC role at Agoda but the interview process felt like interviewing for an entry level or junior role with the online numerical test and math questions during the interview which is also not great for accessibility. There are 5 rounds in total with recruiter screening, the online test, the hiring manager, and other PMs. I don't think I did well on the online assessment and I still progressed forward, but eventually did not get an offer. Even if you're not interested in Agoda, they're interview cases are good for practice! One of the PMs I interviewed with though felt a little rude and condescending during the case interview. The recruiter also mentioned I will be interviewing for open teams (there will be team matching) but realized in the middle rounds that I was being honed in on one team and didn't get to prepare well for their side of the business, which I did not have much experience on. A heads-up from the recruiter would've helped.

Recruiter asked how do you define a PM and what PM role is like at current company, why Agoda, how will you improve Agoda if you were a PM, and case study on how to rank filters in Agoda, expected base and current TC. Numerical test: SHL Product team rounds: expect on the spot calculations/math assessment (like pricing and percent changes) and 15-20 minutes of case studies each round. Introduce self, why Agoda. Case study on profitability and customer lifetime value, success metrics for product area and ads, ranking algorithm.
It was very difficult and lengthy one . Process is tale around one month time . Many round will be there and it is difficult as well .first round will be shl followed by interviewer screening followed by two others round and final is behavioral round

Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn to schedule an interview. After filling out the application form she requested, I received an automated rejection email. I asked what is going on and they told me the interview is cancelled, without any reasoning. Why reach out then?

1 hour with a product leader - 30 mins competency based questions. 30 mins on the spot case study questions - a situation is presented and then questions asked about how you would look to solve a specified product problem - what hypotheses do you have, how you can test it and using what data.
