I was contacted by phone for a phone interview that occurred the next day. That interview was followed about a month later with two interviews at headquarters, one with the PDP director, one with an engineering manager. I did not hear of their final decision until about three months later, although, at the time, the company was splitting into Abbott and AbbVie.

One day of 3 interviews plus one session explaining the benefits package. All questions were behavioral. Each interview lasted about thirty minutes and each interviewer had a fixed list of questions. Given this, if you answered the questions quickly, you had a lot of extra time at the end of the scheduled interview time. Be prepared with a lot of questions to ask the interviewers.

Tell me about your greatest accomplishment, tell me about a time that you had to work in a group and someone did not pull their weight, tell me why you are interested in this job, walk me through your resume, why did you study engineering in college, what are your strengths, etc.
