Cv and cover letter emailed to a generic address, tried to tailor cover letter to requirements in job description (quite detailed with many acronyms). After a few weeks, I was called to ask availability for an assessment centre quite soon after the phone call. The interview was close to the end of the assessment day, all candidates were interviewed not just those who impressed, there was a small group on the day. One candidate and two interviewers. The rest of the day was group and individual tasks, involving feedback to the group and presentation on why I should be successful in attaining the role
