While I am all for companies actually following up letting you know if they are moving forward or passing on your application in a timely manner, doing so in a span of THREE minutes is a bit suspicious.
From the time I submitted my resume to the time I received a response back that you were not going to proceed forward was a whopping three whole minutes. How is that enough time to read my custom tailored cover letter that I wrote and thoroughly vet my background and qualifications?
The fact that I spent more time crafting this submission than you all took to even review me is disheartening, This is a VERY difficult job market we are in these days and a rejection that quickly and thoughtlessly feels like an unnecessary kick to the gut of someone who is already down.
