      The interview process followed a fairly conventional and structured format, commonly observed during campus recruitment drives. The entire procedure was conducted on the university premises, providing a familiar and comfortable environment for the candidates. Prior to the face-to-face interaction with the interview panel, all shortlisted applicants were required to participate in a preliminary aptitude assessment. This standardized test was designed to evaluate fundamental cognitive abilities and essential problem-solving skills. It primarily focused on areas such as logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, verbal ability, and basic analytical thinking. The purpose of this aptitude test was to gauge the candidates' overall intellectual readiness and their capacity to handle real-world challenges that might arise in the professional setting. Successful completion of this initial evaluation was necessary in order to proceed to the next stage of the selection process, which involved a personal interview. Once I cleared the aptitude round, I was invited for the interview, which was conducted by a panel of professionals representing the recruiting organization. The interviewers began by asking a series of questions centered around my academic background. They seemed particularly interested in understanding my approach to learning, the subjects I was most passionate about, and any significant academic projects or research work I had undertaken during my studies. I provided detailed responses regarding my coursework, notable achievements, and the areas in which I had demonstrated consistent academic excellence. In addition to academics, the interviewers also inquired about my involvement in extracurricular and co-curricular activities. They were keen to assess not only my intellectual capabilities but also my interpersonal skills, leadership qualities, and ability to maintain a balanced lifestyle. I shared experiences related to my participation in student clubs, sports, cultural events, and any other non-academic pursuits that had contributed to my personal and professional growth. Overall, the interview served as a comprehensive assessment of both my academic proficiency and my broader skill set, giving the recruiters a holistic view of my qualifications and suitability for the role.

      A recruiter reached out to me telling me about two open positions. One was for BD and the other was for AM. He set up an interview with the hiring manager to determine what the best fit was for me. The first thing the hiring manager said was they didn't currently have any openings but wanted to interview for the future. While I appreciate the manager was upfront, the recruiter was not.
