I first received an e-mail from a recruiter, asking me to contact him to set up a phone interview. The first phone interview was with the recruiter. It was typical - such as why I want to intern at ADP, my avilability to work, and he also told me about ADP as a company. At the end of the phone interview, the recruiter said he believes I would be a good fit, and then we set up the in-person interview at the company. At the in-person interview, the questions were your basic behavior-based questions and explaining why you would be a good fit. The interview was done by the hiring manager in person and an associate on the speaker phone. I applied for the internship online,a nd about a month later is when I heard from the recruiter. I interviewd in person a little more than a week later, and then my start date was 2 weeks after in person interview. The background check is VERY detailed. Be sure to have access to old paystubs/w-2's if they can't verify any employment history - even if it was just a high school part time job.
