Your Role

• You will conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) and Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) assessments in accordance with ISO standards (ISO 14040/14044) for Bekaert’s Rubber Reinforcement division.
• As our global Subject Matter Expert (SME) on LCA methodologies, you will ensure best practices are applied throughout the organization.
• You will manage the creation of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and provide valuable insights to both customers and internal teams.
• You will design and maintain data structures for LCA automation, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• You will be the superuser of Bekaert’s digital LCA tool, serving as the primary liaison with the Corporate team owning the relationship with the tool provider.
• You will oversee the integration of Scope 3 emissions calculations into our sustainability reporting systems.
• You will advise on sustainability opportunities, translating LCA results into actionable insights for product development and operational optimization.
• You will offer training to internal teams and build a global network of stakeholders to advance sustainability initiatives.

Your Profile

• We are looking for someone with proven expertise in LCA, a strong background in ISO 14040/14044, and hands-on experience with LCA software like SimaPro or GaBi.
• You have a solid understanding of relevant standards (ISO 14025, ISO 14067) and emissions calculations (Scope 1, 2, 3),
• Your experience in leading data structuring efforts for PCF/LCA automation will be invaluable.
• You excel at translating complex LCA results into strategic business insights
• We value excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Your ability to quickly understand production processes and product portfolios will be a great asset.
• Fluency in English is essential.
