TAX OFFICER

We are looking for goal-oriented individuals to fill in the TAX OFFICER Role.

The Tax Officer is responsible for all the tax compliance requirements of the company. Ensures that all related tax rules and regulations are complied.

Job Responsibilities:

• Examines all supporting documents needed for tax filings
• Ensures that all documents needed to be filed to BIR and SEC are completely and timely filed and paid
• Regularly checks new BIR and SEC issuances and effectively communicates to the department
• Conducts compliance check regularly
• Provides documents related to tax assessments
• Closely monitor progress of all open tax assessments
• Updates and maintain the company’s dockets
• Ensures that all pertinent documents are properly and safely stored
• Recommends strategies and procedures to improve the unit and strengthen internal controls.
• Ensures that the QMS confirms to ISO9001: 2015.
• Ensures processes are delivering intended outcomes
• Reports to Top Management on the performance of the QMS; on opportunities for improvement; on change requirements; on innovations
• Ensures promotion of customer focus
• Ensures integrity of the QMS is maintained

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy; preferably CPA
• With 3 to 5 years of tax accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and any Accounting Software
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required
• Willing to be assigned in Pasig area (in front of Estancia Mall), and report on-site Monday to Friday
