Role Overview

We are looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our growing technology and product team. This internship provides hands-on experience building and maintaining real-world applications using React, React Native, and Node.js technologies.

You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers across multiple digital initiatives, contributing to frontend, mobile, and backend development projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Assist in building and maintaining backend services using Node.js.
• Participate in feature development, debugging, testing, and application maintenance.
• Contribute to UI improvements, performance optimization, and user experience enhancements.
• Document technical work and support software testing activities.
• Research emerging technologies, product opportunities, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and designers on development projects.
• Help improve system reliability, scalability, and overall application performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
• Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and modern frontend development concepts.
• Basic experience with React, React Native, and/or Node.js.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid team environment.
• Interest in fintech, product development, and emerging technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building personal, academic, or freelance software projects.
• Familiarity with APIs, Git/GitHub, and modern development workflows.
• Exposure to TypeScript, NestJS, Firebase, or cloud technologies is an advantage.
• Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL is a plus.
