PROJECT MANAGER - FIELD APPLICATION SPECIALIST

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead and manage overall project execution from project kick-off to final handover.
• Coordinate with customers, internal departments, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Review and capture customer requirements, technical specifications, and project scope.
• Plan project schedules, manpower allocation, and resource utilization to meet timeline and budget objectives.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to milestones, quality standards, and deliverables.
• Oversee machine builds, installation, testing, commissioning, and buy-off activities.
• Ensure all engineering and field activities comply with company safety standards and customer requirements.
• Lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions for technical or project issues.
• Manage project risks, changes, and escalation matters effectively.
• Conduct site meetings and provide regular project updates, status reports, and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure proper implementation of design and technical solutions.
• Review BOMs, PRs, technical documents, and project-related reports when necessary.
• Support customer communication and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supervise onsite engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure efficient execution of work.
• Ensure proper maintenance, inspection, and handling of project equipment and materials.
• Prepare and submit project completion reports and handover documentation.
• Continuously improve project execution processes and support operational excellence initiatives.

DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics / Software Integration Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, field engineering, or an industrial automation environment.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment installation, and system integration projects.
• Familiarity with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and site compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel, work onsite, and support overtime or weekend activities when required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, project documentation, and reporting tools.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
