About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team and take ownership of back-end architecture, design, and development for applications tailored to the aviation and airport industry. Leveraging technologies like Python, PostgreSQL, and Redis, you will transform user and business requirements into high-performance, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust back-end systems

• Architect scalable and efficient code structures

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional applications

Requirements

• Polish C1

• Experience: 3+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in back-end development

• Methodologies: Understanding of Scrum/Agile development practices

• Technologies: Leveraging technologies like Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Kafka and many others

• Version Control: Proficiency in Git or similar systems

• Education: Preferred degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) or safety/mission critical software standards

Recruitment Process

An introduction to AP-Tech and the specific team. The candidate has the opportunity to ask questions. A few questions about previous experience and motivation for applying are also covered.

A deeper discussion focused on the candidate’s skills and knowledge relevant to the role. This may include practical exercises, case studies, or situational questions, depending on the position.

For some roles, a short assignment may be provided to complete at home, typically requiring 2–3 hours. This allows candidates to demonstrate their problem-solving approach and work style.

An additional meeting to explore AP-Tech’s culture and values, and to ensure alignment with the company’s vision.

After completing all stages, the candidate receives clear feedback and information about the next steps.
