Material Control Engineer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of 4 or 5-year course: preferably Engineering (Civil or Industrial)
• Minimum of 2- 3 years of work-related experience.
• Computer Literate
• Knowledgeable in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Willing to work in a construction site

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors and/or controls materials requisition of contractor vs. BOQ Control/system, to ensure that material issuance are within the within the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Monitors materials status (PR Vs. P.O. vs. Delivery) to ensure the availability of materials aligned with the construction schedule.
• Monitors and evaluates materials inventory vs. materials site requirements, to ensure that materials needed are available at the right level and at the right time (based on the production per month).
• Checks /Evaluates materials delivery to ensure that specification was in accordance with the requirements of construction group
• Summarize the Construction timeline, prepare and encode Purchase Requisition (PR) based on OTC/Production per month in order to serve the materials requirement based on Project Operating Plan for the month.
• Daily update for Material Delivery Schedule to provide needed information which is important in timeline compliance of the project.
• Coordinates/follow-up with Purchasing Dept. status of delivery of material requisition in order to keep track and prepare warehouse for the incoming deliveries and give feedback to construction group.
• Oversee and monitor site warehouse inventory and ensure to comply with the Inventory Record Accuracy target.
• Provides material status updates and coordinates with PIC for any irregularities and/or discrepancies on material requisition of contractors for their immediate action in order not to delay the issuances of materials.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned.
