Internal Audit Senior Associate

JOB SUMMARY:

Execute the audit engagements included in the audit plan (audit jobs that are done on a regular basis), from planning to tracking of open items, and implementation of agreed recommendations. Identifies internal control weaknesses in the process and make meaningful recommendations that address the root cause of the issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS Accountancy graduate or any 4-year course related to Accounting
• CPA / CIA / CISA certified is a plus
• With at least two (2) years experience in all phases of accounting and audit
• Basic computer skills
• Interpersonal Skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills’
• Good human relation skills
• Willing to perform fieldwork outside work base

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in the drafting of the Audit Work Program and suggests continuous improvements thereon.
• Adheres to the audit process in the conduct of the audit engagement
• Performs the audit procedures in the approved work program and as discussed with the Senior Lead
• Conducts and reviews audit tasks and do the following:
• Walkthrough/Review of documents
• Preparation of audit reports
• Preparation of audit recommendations
• Discuss issues and recommendations with auditees
• Reviews and evaluates compliance to internal policy guidelines and procedures of the different departments
• Assists in reviewing and recommending systems and procedures to strengthen internal controls; ensures the effective implementation of said internal control policies upon approval by Management
• Performs other Audit related work that may be assigned by the Lead, Senior Lead or the Department Hea
