Construction Engineer

Role and Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of data center construction projects, including planning, execution, and completion.
• Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate on-site activities and ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and construction issues promptly.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and enforce quality control.
• Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
• Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting any challenges and solutions.
• Implement best practices in construction management and sustainability within data center operations.
• Assist in commissioning and testing of systems to ensure operational readiness.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in construction engineering, with a focus on data centers or similar facilities.
• Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems.
• Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate must be Malaysian.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Willingness to travel across states in Malaysia.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
