DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory including receiving, shipping, check-in and check-out activities for supplies and materials.
  • Performs a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of files and record in system.
  • Responsible for keeping storage areas neat, clean and in accordance with department policy.
  • Inventory maintenance: cycle counts, stock rotation, reports shortages/overages.
  • Manage escalated issues to the Inventory Control Supervisor.
  • Maintain inventory records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports as necessary.
  • Provide daily status reports to Supervisor.
  • Attend and participate in staff group meetings as required.
  • Other duties assigned by Asset Services management.

DETAILED JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors’ Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Mathematics or Logistics / Transportation or Business Studies / Administration / Management. 
  • Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
  • Able to work with Excel.
  • Numerical and logical with commercial acumen.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Technical skills demonstrate in the use of the computer system.
  • Should have command over English.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: RM1,900.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
