Last month, we were thrilled to welcome Johannes Thomas as our new Chief Executive Officer, Jasmine Ezz as our Chief Marketing Officer, and Andrej Lehnert as our Chief Product Officer, joining forces with Matthias Tillmann, our Chief Financial Officer. The new leadership team members hit the ground running, dedicating their first month to immersing themselves in our company and building relationships with our teams.

We offer free German language courses from A1 to B1 level, available both in-person and remotely. We're confident that with the guidance of our experienced internal German teacher, Bettina, anyone can master the language in no time! 🇩🇪 💬
Tech meet-ups are one of our favorite event formats! They create a valuable space for exchange and knowledge sharing, allowing us to engage with the local tech community. Two weeks ago, we hosted a Product meet-up on our trivago campus in collaboration with Product Tank Düsseldorf. Participants had the opportunity to meet fellow product enthusiasts, listen to insightful presentations, and network over some pizza and drinks. Thanks to all our speakers and teams involved in making this event possible.
Women&Allies is one of our talent communities that aims at empowering its members by raising awareness on gender equality, enabling learning and fostering exchange through different formats. We were thrilled to welcome trivago alumni, now Chief People Officer in tech and meditation coach, Anitta Krishan at our first Women&Allies event of 2023. During the session, Anitta taught us different breathing and meditation techniques that can help us rewire our nervous system. She showcased how these simple methods can improve our mental wellbeing by reducing stress and boosting mental clarity.

Spring is finally here and it’s time for all of us to recharge our batteries! Today we’re having our first #EnergyDay filled with all kinds of remote activities to help us get energized – from morning meditation and flowlab sessions, to an ergonomics workshop and virtual company-wide walk outdoors. trivago also sent each of us a gift box with goodies from Grow Grow Nut to help bring more green into our home offices 🌱 Fun fact: With each package we plant, 3 new trees are planted, resulting in a total of 2.610 new trees in the world! Pretty neat right? Anyway, we’re off to go recharge and get active! Join us by getting out for a bit of fresh air 🏃♀️
