Members of our Listo!+ business resource group volunteered at Erie Neighborhood House, a community nonprofit that provides Chicagoans with childcare, education, legal services and mental wellness services. Our team painted a classroom and hallway, installed fencing on a playground, and tidied up the grounds. It’s another way we always support the communities we serve.
Sharing illuminating insights about careers in energy. 💡 WPS employees had fun speaking with Northwoods high school students at today’s Rhinelander High School career fair. Our staff helped students learn about the variety of skills that help us deliver affordable, reliable and clean energy every day.
Our Utility Training Program is providing Chicago Public Schools students knowledge and skills to launch future careers. 30 students just graduated from the first phase of the program and now will become paid summer interns! It's another way we’re partnering with the communities we serve to create a bright future.
Inspiring event. Inspiring stories. Inspiring people. WPS was honored to join the Volunteer Center of Brown County to recognize outstanding volunteers at the 36th WPS Volunteer Awards at Lambeau Field. We’re amazed by every recipient and nominee’s dedication to building a brighter future in our communities.
Thank you to our heroes in hard hats! They climb poles, re-string wires and fix broken equipment. We appreciate your dedication to keep us safe, while making sure our lights stay on today and everyday. #ThankALineman #NationalLinemenAppreciationDay
