Comprised of our Revenue Operations, Sales Development and Marketing Teams, this department collaborates on content curation and distribution, lead generation, system optimizations, connecting with prospects and additional pipeline strategies. Last week, our Service Express Cares Council hosted our third annual "Volunteer Week"! Team members were encouraged to come together and use their paid volunteer hours to give back to their communities. Each year, we're amazed by the impact our team makes! - 156 employees took part - Over 565 volunteer hours used - Numerous organizations supported, including Kids' Food Basket, Food Bank of the Rockies, Habitat for Humanity International and more. Our Women's Leadership Council introduced a new Women's Mentorship Initiative at Service Express. The program brings colleagues together to share experiences, provide knowledge and foster connections. In its first year, over 100 women at Service Express have participated! By pairing mentors and mentees, we aim to cultivate an environment where every woman feels supported, empowered and equipped to reach their fullest potential. Infrastructure Sales Consultant Daniel Postma has biked to and from the office for over 7 years! His #peoplepoweredgoal started when he joined Service Express in 2016. At the time, he only lived 4 miles away. He now rides his bike 11 miles to our HQ, a 35-minute commute each way "on a good day." Daniel bikes year-round as long as the roads aren't icy. He says, "Cycling is better for me, better for the environment, and a great way to keep my mind clear. It is just a sport that makes me happy." Way to go, Daniel! 🚴
Last week, we welcomed several team members from the UK to our Grand Rapids HQ. This visit brought together 4 of our global teams in person for the first time: Talent Acquisition, Communications, Learning and Development and Human Resources. It was a pleasure to see these groups collaborate face-to-face. During their time together, they toured our Grand Rapids offices, participated in workshops and discussed goals for the rest of 2024. We're glad they could enjoy a beautiful week of Michigan summer, including a trip to the beach and adventures with their peers. Some team members joined our LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group (ERG) at the Grand Rapids Pride festival.
