Recently, at our Global Headquarters, SCJ hosted our annual Learning Week. The agenda was packed with panels that shared their expertise and insights, discussions that highlighted innovations within the company, as well as professional development sessions. To round out the experience, there were also networking opportunities, booths staffed by SCJ teams, snacks, and giveaways.
In 1992, SCJ people established what is now known as the Alliance of Black Professionals, a voluntary, employee-led Employee Resource Group. Throughout its history, the Alliance of Black Professionals has left a lasting, positive mark on the company and the communities in which we operate in. Recently, SC Johnson received a top score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index, a benchmarking survey and report that measures corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. Along with this ranking, SCJ was also designated as a recipient of the "Equality 100 Award: Leaders in LGBTQ+ Inclusion." Additionally, we were one of less than 10 CPG companies to be named one of the 100 Best Companies for working parents for the 35th year. SC Johnson teams around the world celebrated World Quality Day this November. Here's a look at how teams gathered to learn more about why quality is important at SC Johnson. Celebrations included SCJ product and quality trivia, raffles, games and giveaways. Members of the Quality Team also set up Quality Stations to answer questions and share examples of why Quality Matters at SCJ.

Sanjayan, and renowned marine biologist Sylvia Earle, recently celebrated the opening of The Blue Paradox exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois. The Blue Paradox is a powerful, immersive experience where guests can walk beneath the ocean’s surface, explore the impact plastic pollution has on this vital natural resource, and discover the meaningful actions needed to stop plastic waste from becoming pollution. As guests walk through the exhibit, they explore 5 unique rooms meant to inspire them to help turn the tide on the ocean plastic crisis before it's too late. Our LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Groups brought employees together to learn, empower, and have fun through a variety of events and activities: participating in local Pride parades, baseball games, panels, interactive keynote speakers, and more.
