This Holiday Season, we’re thrilled to bring our Associates together to close out the year on a high. We’ve gathered across the country in our ugliest sweaters to build gingerbread houses and bring together gifts and donations for local causes close to our hearts.
This week we’re thrilled to welcome Jim Conroy to Ross as CEO-Elect and a member of our Board of Directors. To mark the occasion, we’re coming together in live meetings across the country as Jim introduces himself to the Ross team. Jim’s succession to CEO will be complete on February 2, 2025. Barbara Rentler, who has been CEO since 2014, will remain in her role during this two-month period and then serve as Strategic Advisor through March 31, 2027. We look forward to working with Jim as we continue to grow!
Our Corporate, Buying Office, and Supply Chain Associates came together to dance, paint, and host a fashion show for Diwali. For some it was a moment to celebrate an important personal holiday, for others a moment to learn about and share in their colleagues’ culture. Diwali is a festival of lights that celebrates the triumph of light over darkness and marks the beginning of the fiscal year in India. Volunteers prepared food, applied henna tattoos, hosted education booths, and performed traditional dances. At Ross, we value a diverse and inclusive workplace where we welcome and celebrate Associates from all backgrounds. #LifeAtRoss
This Veterans Day – and all year around – we are thankful for the many brave American veterans who have served at home and overseas. We’re proud to employ many veterans at Ross, and we continue to work towards being an even better place for veterans to transition to civilian careers.
