Evaluation of EPE by conventional means poses obstacles. It requires the keen eye of a radiologist to decipher subtle details in the images, and the accuracy of the diagnosis depends mainly on the quality of the images obtained. 💡 In this recent study https://bit.ly/3OM3hSS, researchers explored the crucial role of #AI in determining whether the quality of prostate MR images is optimal for accurate assessment of EPE. 🎯 The study focused on distinguishing between diagnostic and non-diagnostic image quality of prostate #MRI. The AI model became a discerning eye, objectively calibrating the clarity of T2-weighted images (T2WI) and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) maps.
