Over the past decade, we grew from a team of 3 to over 500 people worldwide, launched five services, donated over 2.7 million to essential causes, and earned the trust of over 100 million people. Proton is transitioning towards a non-profit structure
This year, democracy is on the ballot. Over 60 countries — home to half the globe’s population — will hold national elections in 2024. To ensure that everyone has access to accurate information before they cast their vote, we’ll offer free ProtonVPN servers in countries with a history of #censorship or political interference in the weeks leading up to the elections. The servers will be switched from paid to free for the period of the election.
