Our current job of the month is the Marketing Specialist! Let us introduce you to Sayaka, our Marketing Specialist at Henkel Japan. Sayaka oversees the back-office operations for the Consumer Marketing and Sales Planning Departments. She strives to eliminate obstacles ahead of time to create a strategic environment that fosters productivity and creativity. "Since I work with many people, I try to maintain close communication with the team on a regular basis to strengthen the bonds between our departments," she says.
Henkel has launched the “Martha Schwarzkopf Award for Women in Science”, a new research award to support and recognize outstanding female scientists in the field of hair research. The three winners have now been selected. In addition to winning a prize money, they can benefit from mentoring opportunities such as an exchange with scientists or receive professional support from Henkel to advance their scientific work.
We’re very proud to announce that Henkel has been honored with the Schneider Electric Sustainability Award! The award recognizes our work on climate action and commitment to Schneider Electric’s the Zero Carbon Project, which aims to halve CO2 emissions among its supplier community’s operations by 2025. At Henkel, we always strive to drive sustainability through focus, impact and speed. We are therefore delighted that our efforts have been recognised by this award.

Happy 115th Birthday to Persil 115 years ago, Henkel chemists revolutionized laundry washing with the first self-acting detergent. On June 6, 1907, the first Persil advertisement appeared in the newspaper and shortly afterwards, Persil was available in stores. Here’s to many more years of successful innovation!
