A big thank you to our Arlington and Chesapeake employees for two impactful May All Be Fed volunteer days! All part of our company-wide campaign this month to give back to our communities by gathering our friends and families and volunteering in local food banks and other organizations to combat hunger. Thanks to your dedication and selflessness, we raised an incredible total of $8,808.26 through participation in packing events and donations to local organizations. In Chesapeake, we supported Basilica St Mary's Soup Kitchen helping unload and distribute food, while in Arlington, we partnered with Path Forward packing lunches for those in need. A huge thank you to our amazing employees for making a real difference in our local communities. Your commitment to giving back is truly inspiring!
We're proud of our teammates representing FTI so well in the community. Last week, members of our IT team spent a few hours to provide some much-needed computer resources to The Victory Project (victoryproject.org)- a mentoring and personal development program for disengaged young men in Dayton, Ohio. Wes Cole, Joseph Kent, and Ashley Johnson refurbished 14 older FTI laptops and external monitors, drove them to The Victory Project, and set them up. Thank you, team!
Special thanks to the NDIA Michigan Chapter, and especially Marc Shepard and Phil Wills, for inviting our own Jonathan Avooske, DBA, VP of Information Advantage, to present at the NDIA Cyber Physical Systems Security Summit in Detroit this week. “Is Cybersecurity Enough?” It depends. How critical is your operability – your mission? Dr. Avooske outlined methods to determine when compliance is sufficient – and what additional considerations and actions are needed when compliance alone is not enough. FTI is at the ready with the expert personnel, methodologies, and technologies to deliver the understanding and insights required to meet the unique set of cyber threats the DOD faces today.
This month, FTI is giving back to our communities in honor of our 39th anniversary, emphasizing one of our core values that defines who we are: Charity. As part of our May All Be Fed campaign, we're devoting our time to volunteer at local food banks and soup kitchens. While we've held this campaign in the past, this year, we're intensifying our efforts to have a substantial impact in each community we serve. To further this impact through giving, FTI is donating $300 per volunteer to the organization on behalf of our employees and their families and friends who participated. This past weekend, our Colorado Springs team kicked off May All Be Fed with a bang at Care and Share Food Bank! We are so incredibly grateful for our 22 volunteers who dedicated their Saturday morning to fighting hunger in our local community. In addition to the time volunteered, FTI is donating $6,600.00 to the organization. We are very proud of our employees and their families for making a great impact. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue our month of giving with May All Be Fed!

We're reflecting on a successful and enjoyable #SAS24 - many thanks to our outstanding team who attended and hosted meetings at #SeaAirSpace24. What a privilege it is to partner with our warfighters and senior leadership at Sea-Air-Space and beyond!
