After more than 26 years of service, Julie George is retiring in July. Julie’s contributions to ECI are vast and enduring. Even before officially joining the company, she supported many of our subcontractors aswe built the very first of our Columns properties. Since joining ECI, she has played a key role across nearly every part of our business -from accounting and HR to property and asset management, acquisitions as well as development and construction. Julie has been instrumental in securing and structuring financing for acquisitions and developments, managing construction draws, and maintaining strong relationships with lenders. Julie also serves as a key liaison with vendors, brokers, lenders, elected officials, and investors - consistently representing ECI with professionalism and integrity. Her leadership in managing our insurance program, coupled with her proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues before they arise, has been one of her defining strengths. Julie worked closely with ECI’s founder, Henry Hirsch. Her knowledge, steadiness, and reliability have made her a cornerstone of this organization. As she transitions into retirement, we’re excited for her to enjoy more time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Julie’s legacy will remain a massive part of ECI, and she will always be an integral part of our story. Julie, you will be deeply missed and always appreciated!
Recently, members of the ECI Corporate team volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Atlanta, an organization that provides a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill or injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Our team spent the day preparing a homemade meal in the facility's kitchen, helping to bring a sense of comfort and care to families going through difficult times. A big thank you to all the team members who participated. It's always inspiring to see ECI come together to support our communities, truly embodying our commitment to making a positive and lasting impact.
