A new chapter in Sunderland 📍🛏️ Due to increased demand in the Northeast we’ve recently opened a new Dreams store and distribution centre in Sunderland, bringing retail and logistics together on one site to better serve customers across the Northeast. The investment has created 16 new roles in the local area and reflects our long-term commitment to the region and giving customers the ability to come into a store and seek expert advice. It also forms part of a wider programme of store and distribution investment continuing across the UK through 2026. We know choosing a bed is a big and exciting decision. People want expert advice in-store and fast, reliable delivery once that choice is made. These openings will help us do both for our customers 🚚✨

He’s proud to have grown with the business, and even once had the chance to meet the Queen at Clarence House! What’s kept him here for over 3 decades? "Enjoying my job, meeting people all over the country, and continuing to add value." His advice? "Look after your staff/people fairly, give them training and development, share best practices and knowledge”. 30 years in Supply Chain and still delivering! Every year, we celebrate colleagues' career milestones through our Dedication Awards, recognising the time, commitment and impact of our people across the Dreams business. From year-one badges to 30 days off and a £1,000 voucher at 40 years, every milestone matters. Dave began his career at Dreams as a Delivery Assistant in 1996 and worked his way up to Supply Chain Manager. From delivering beds to the Big Brother house, to carrying one up Snowdon with his team to raise money for our corporate charity partner, Shelter, Dave’s journey has been anything but ordinary. What’s kept him here? "The challenge and making sure we always hit our targets." His advice? " Acknowledge the loyalty, and learn from experience, chances are those that have been there for a while will have seen it, done it, learned from it and achieved it. "
