Back in 2018, the official Year of Plastic Consumption Awareness, Critical launched its Go Green initiative. We realised that our offices had plenty of room to improve their green credentials, so we aimed to cut back on the consumption of disposable plastic within the company, bringing a touch of green to the way we work. Want to find out what we’ve achieved so far? 🍀 Over 145,000 plastic cups removed from our offices 🍀 Over 7500 plastic bottles not used by our employees 🍀 Over 950kg of disposable plastic cut out of our business. And that’s not to mention becoming a Certified B Corporation. We’ve become one of the few companies in the world to achieve CMMI-SE/SW Level 5 certification, meaning we could work on some of the most significant projects happening across the world. In the year NASA confirmed their discovery of one of the oldest known exoplanets (PSR B1620-26 b), we became the first Iberian company to receive the renowned ISO 9001:2000 TickIT quality certification, proving our commitment to making the world a safer place. 2003 was, for us, yet another launchpad to success. Our certification that year has opened the door to new certifications and awards, as well as a new and improved building for our headquarters in Coimbra – which remains our home today! 🙂
