After much consideration, Brad Perry has decided to sell Automated Systems, Inc. (ASI) to Banyan Software, effective 08/21/2024. Banyan Software is an investment company that buys and indefinitely holds profitable and successful software companies. In looking at potential opportunities, Brad was adamant that he did not want to sell to a Private Equity firm that would look to inflate profitability and quickly resell the company. He also did not want to sell to a competitor that would look to consolidate staff, eliminate positions, sunset products or force customers to convert to other systems. Banyan’s investment and partnership will help foster enhanced customer service and an innovative product offering. As a result of this change, we have named Paul J. Loftus as CEO, effective immediately. Paul’s expertise in Go-to-Market, Customer Success and CEO experience in a SaaS organization will provide great insight and leadership to the next chapter of ASI.
