The company's applications streamline workforce acquisition and management, handling recruitment and hiring processes for external and internal workforces, contingent workforces including temporary and contract employees, and hourly workers. VirtualEdge also offers hiring software targeted to vertical industries with specialized recruitment needs, including health care, financial services, manufacturing, distribution, and retailing. VirtualEdge was acquired by ADP in 2006.
