RGIS employees count inventory for customers, primarily large retailers but also manufacturers, using scanners that send information to a cloud. It also provides data collection and store optimization services. The company operates from facilities throughout the UK, Europe, Asia/Pacific region, the Middle East, South America and the USA; it has offices in more than 44 countries worldwide. Investment firm The Blackstone Group owns a controlling stake in RGIS, which was founded in 1958.
