When the moon hits your eye and you need some design, that's amore ... or maybe just Lunar Design. The firm offers industrial design, engineering, graphic design, brand development, and corporate identity services. The majority of Lunar's work is geared towards the high-tech industry; it designed Apple's first Powerbook, as well as the first Palm. Other product designs include the HP TouchSmart PC for Hewlett-Packard, sunglasses for DKNY, a toothbrush for Oral-B, and a catheter for Acuson Corporation. Lunar has offices in California, Hong Kong, and Germany. The design firm was founded in 1984 by CEO Jeff Smith and COO Gerard Furbershaw.
