Verisign used to be an incredible place to work — strong leadership, transparent communication, and genuine respect for employees. Unfortunately, that’s changed drastically over the past year.
The company has forced employees back into the office under the guise of “knowledge transfer,” even though we successfully collaborated remotely for over 5 years without issue. Senior leadership rarely engages with employees outside their own circles, creating a noticeable disconnect between executives and the rest of the organization.
Morale has plummeted to an all-time low. To make matters worse, the company quietly eliminated its DEI initiatives earlier this year, seemingly hoping no one would notice. It’s disheartening to see how far things have fallen from the open, progressive culture Verisign once had.
