Cold, dark, and uninspiring, the office feels frozen in time, complete with outdated tech and zero atmosphere. There’s a surplus of middle managers whose main talent seems to be hovering over your shoulder. Even taking a moment to grab a coffee or stretch earns disapproving stares.
Leadership has a manipulative streak, they’ll gaslight you into thinking you should feel grateful to be there, as though it’s some rare privilege… when really, it’s just another recruitment firm among hundreds offering the same thing.
If you’re a woman, good luck. The culture feels decades behind, with attitudes better suited to the 1800s — it’s the kind of place where you’d be better off as a “stay-at-home wife” than expecting fair treatment.
The team dynamic is equally off. The mix of people feels random and disconnected, with zero camaraderie inside or outside the office. Even the “holiday incentives” have the opposite effect, it genuinely feels more like a punishment than a reward to travel with management.
