Ventajas

No weekend work. After 30 years of drudgery you get to retire.

Desventajas

Workload is way too heavy and morale is the lowest I have ever seen at any employer and I have worked at a lot of places in my 55 years. No exaggeration. Turnover is high. Most trainees get fired (wouldn't it make sense to keep them so you can all have a lighter workload?). The employees that leave willingly are either extremely talented and/or educated but quickly realize they can do better elsewhere. If you bring up something that isn't working you are deemed a troublemaker and are told "well that's the job, just deal with it". If I could go back in time, I would tell myself to work anywhere but the Social Services department.
