Ventajas

You advance quickly with StarTek and have a lot of opportunity because the prefer to hire upper management "in house". StarTek also gives you great experience in the call center field, especially if you're just starting in that chosen career path.

Desventajas

StarTek's stocks have been plummeting and have had several site closures and cut-backs. They have cut back a lot of their bonuses such as severance packages, stay bonuses and travel bonuses for salaried individuals. Also, they do a lot of non-US outsources and have closed almost half of their North American sites. StarTek also pays less than what the job description demands. For example, the job I had performed had a minimum of $16 an hour (according to trend in my area at the time I was hired) and I had been paid around $13 an hour.

The team was very helpful Open door policy Training was great

Desventajas

When business slowed down we were released from the phones, so we did not get to work full 8 hours
