Ventajas
Excellent growth in Emerging markets- Top tier bank in Africa with strong growth in Brazil, Russia and Eastern Europe. Fun culture in a friendly enviroment. Not an hours culture, therefore more relaxed than the global Investment banks.
Desventajas
Average Pay and conservative management. In my experience bonuses do not compare to the global Investment banks. Find many middle staff in South Africa leave the bank due to limited growth prospects . Difficult for bank to compete in Europe and USA with the globaL investment banks. Still has a strong corporate banking culture and therefore not as agressive as the bulge bracket firms.
