Ventajas

Product. Native Advertising is an exciting and up coming channel for digital media and StackAdapt's in-stream ad units are very effective for content amplification campaigns.

Desventajas

Management has no idea how to run a company. Can't be blamed as they have no experience of running a company. Wouldn't trust them to grow this company to anything substantial or be able to lead a team. They need a lot of money to continue running this company and unless they can get angel investors, VC Funding or Rob a bank, I don't see it happening. The competition in this space is just going to get tougher with bigger players in the Ad Tech. space getting on board with Programmatic Native and leveraging their existing publisher relationships. No Leadership AT ALL- there would be days where the company would have no idea where the founders or the leadership team are. No vision into how this company will grow or where it goes in the next 1,3 and 5 years. Benefits are nonexistent Pay for your own phone plan (being a business development/sales executive this was just ridiculous)

First of all, thanks for your review, and thanks for bringing up all the points in so much details. We constantly seek for ways to improve and that's very helpful. Thanks for pointing out the biggest pro - our product! We personally feel that it was our number one priority as the leadership team to nail this down, as we were constantly looking for product / market fit. Without it - the company would not be in existence long time ago. I agree that the road was bumpy, but that's expected for the young and ambitious company in a competitive market. In less than one year we have built the product from the idea to its current form and started to work with some of the world's largest brands. On the other hand, can't disagree more about the unrealistic goals for sales reps. They are every bit realistic, as we have people achieving them.

Ventajas

Honestly hard to name many at this point. There was a time when StackAdapt had real energy — people seemed to genuinely enjoy the work and each other. That culture has mostly eroded. If you're considering joining, do your research on what the company looks like today, not what it was two or three years ago.

Desventajas

Leadership quality has declined significantly. Several managers in place have no business being in those roles — they contribute little, take credit for wins, and deflect blame when things go sideways. It creates a demoralizing environment and good people notice. Comp structures have shifted in ways that primarily benefit the top of the org. What used to feel like a fair deal now feels like the goalposts keep moving. On the product side, there's not much that meaningfully differentiates StackAdapt from competitors, and there's a lack of transparency with clients around pricing. It's hard to feel proud of what you're selling.
