Ventajas
Springbok offers unparalleled flexibility on where and where you work. A genuine focus on work life balance along with a CEO that is always open to sensible suggestions and willing to action them quickly. Company is growing steadily and organically. Both commercially and in terms of tech stack.
Desventajas
Due to the fact the company is young and started from almost a group of friends, some of that vibe still remains. This is excellent for company culture and the relaxed atmosphere but that does mean that many of the processes are still very casual and not yet formalised. This means that you really need to advocate for yourself and seek verification for various unwritten rules and mutual understandings. Unfortunately this still extends to things like annual review, work hours etc. e.g. You can still seek promotions and raises etc. but the formal process isn't quite systematic yet and it can feel rather ad hoc. Of course, all these things are being actively worked on.
