Ventajas
- Loved working at SimpleTexting for its support and emphasis on owning your role. - Every employee seems to show initiative and be trusted to work remotely due to the nature of the job. Very 'open door' policy and everyone works hard to maintain this from top to bottom. - Previously had some good work culture initiatives, although aware this has changed after the acquisition.
Desventajas
- Relies heavily on being a remote company but doesn't offer any benefits around this (no laptop or phone to work from home with). No benefits for employees outside of the US. - Salary is average for a B2B tech company and bonuses/salary increases are every 12 months which is not frequent enough for a small company with so much change. - No employee satisfaction or anonymous polling to communicate issues or check in on employees. - Recent Sinch acquisition was not communicated well to employees and gives the impression of nobody knew what was happening and lots of sugarcoating too.
