Ventajas
Ability to go deep, research and write about various software categories. If you are a tech writer or analyst, it's a great way to learn the ropes and grow your career. Colleagues are spread across the world and we are supported by a great team of market researchers and analysts. Management listens to you and is eager to ensure that you feel empowered and happy. If I go to them with an idea, I feel heard and respected. The pressures and timelines are there, but that's to be expected of any fast growing startup. Ability to deal with pressure is what separates the "grown-ups" from the "kids". The kitchen is usually well-stocked with coffee and snacks! Can't ask for more! :)
Desventajas
There are some people around me that seem dissatisfied and openly grouch about the workload and salary. Not sure why they continue to work here or why the company hasn't fired them yet - their effect can be toxic (if you listen to them). But I have learnt it's best to be polite and nod, put on your headphones and focus on your deliverables. Keeps everyone happy.
