Ventajas

I’ve been with the SecVal for 5 years and I can say we have surely grown as a company. We have a great benefits package. The addition to our 401k plan is a nice bonus! Exploring, and gaining knowledge from all the best EDR products, NexGen firewall technologies and AI. Some of the best times for me when we are able to perform complete network make overs. Starting all the way from the firewall to the infrastructure, planning and building the new domain network. I’ve been part of some major projects from all of our clients. From rebuilding complete networks, designing and implementing ESXi VM stack, and building Hyper-V stack using some pretty serious hardware. As the Director of Security Operations, it’s my job to understand and gain knowledge of all the new EDR tools, NexGen firewall technologies, we are using to protect our clients and their information. As well as keeping our client’s complaint. Ensuring we are protecting each endpoint for our clients and their data from bad actors.

Desventajas

I would say, just normal company growing pains.

There are legit no pros to this place.

Desventajas

True story, when I first started there, I was told not to say hello to any of the executive management (including the owners kid) unless spoken to first...we worked in the same office right next to each other. They also would randomly IM workers and demand they put their webcam on so they can monitor them. Also, they make you sign an NDA and NON-Compete (which is whatever) but that is why you don't see many negative reviews. Well, my time for these documents has expired so I think people should know. I asked the HR what these documents entailed and she could not explain or tell me what was in there. Turn around is also insane and they legit just fire people at a whim.
