Desventajas

The company has significant structural and cultural challenges that prospective employees should be aware of before joining. There is no mid-level engineering management. All decisions, access requests, and technical escalations run through a single person at the top, making it effectively a one-man show. Daily progress is entirely dependent on that one person's availability, which creates constant bottlenecks. There is also no internal documentation or onboarding material, so new joiners have no way to self-serve or move forward independently. Performance reviews were infrequent and lacked any defined metrics, leaving employees without a reliable way to self-assess, course-correct, or understand what growth looked like. Expectations were set, but the structure to support meeting them simply was not there. Compensation was below market rate, with little transparency around how pay was structured or what it would take to progress. The responsibilities and pressure placed on employees simply did not match what was offered in return. Employees were monitored by time, a practice that feels out of place in 2025 for knowledge workers, framed as a measure to prevent overwork but experienced very differently on the ground. Independent thinking and initiative were not rewarded, and conflicts were handled personally rather than professionally, creating an environment that lacked psychological safety.
