Ventajas
Been working at riverside for a year, came from a big company before that. The culture of the company is amazing, most of the time you have the freedom take the implementation you think is the best approach, other times you participate in the planning of the implementation. The General approach is to hire experts in their field, so they in turn bring to the company their experiences and best practices. The time spent here at Riverside.fm empowered me to be my best and to keep improving my skills and abilities. The devs in our teams have 100% influence on the product and code base they are writing, giving a satisfaction sensation for everything we develop and ship to our users. The product is a revolutionary one, being at the front of Audio/Video recording, making this small startup a rocket-ship at the start of it’s journey.
Desventajas
This is a startup, so things might not always be organized compared to a corporate company. We are still finding the right work processes that fit us but it is fun as we do this together (from Junior dev to CTO)
